A hate for mankind and a need for the dark.
Our hearts beat as one, the apocalypse starts.
The end of the world draws to a close, as we gather for the feast.
We are fear brought back to life, of an ancient knowledge once told.
Prophesied the deeds they have done, as we watch their undoing unfold.
We were told to stray from the path, hold steady we ride not in vain.
We demons will rise, in darkness we thrive, and we’ll never be stopped again.
You refuse to believe that there is a demon living inside of us all.
Nested deep in the depths of your mind, can’t you hear its ravenous call.
We planted the seed and you gave it life, a power contained by no one else.
If you try to cut it out you’ll only kill yourself.

I truly believe that we are not one. Because of the things I see.
But I do believe that we can become a powerful entity.
We must all fight as one, if we want to be what we seek.
When alone we are weak, but together we all stand tall.
Why do we believe that some are above, when the rest are left far beneath.
Can we perceive the darkness and light existing equally.
Existing equally is the only way to save man.
Hand in hand, unified we will march to reclaim our souls.

I’m awake, now that I can see

To this place
Running through tunnels, I realize that my destination is unknown.
Lost within this place I’ve never even been to before.
Followed by nothing for all I know, but I feel the need to leave.
Desperately I feed the urge to try and run away.
